Joshua's tooth count has moved to 6 now!!

This last week, Joshua broke through another 2 upper teeth for a total of 6 now!! He is sitting on his own now for extended periods of time. He is starting to scooch around the floor so crawling is close. We spent the weekend at the lake! He got in the water and swam with us. He loves it! A big bath tub that he can splash all he wants!! He seems to like the boat better when it's moving!! He gets impatient when we are stopped trying to get the tube out or switching people on the tube. Everybody tubed this weekend, even Di and Jackie. We had a great weekend despite the rain all day Saturday!!

Have a good week!!

Joshua gets two more teeth

Joshua has two more teeth. The top two front teeth came in this last week. Joshua has figured out he can roll and move about the room. He's about 2 weeks from crawling, we think. He gets up on his hands and knees but hasn't moved much yet. But he's close!

We went to Grandma H's this weekend to celebrate her birthday with her. We had a really nice weekend. Jeremy and Jackie had to come back to Manhattan early Sunday for KSU Football Camp. Jeremy had a good time at camp and learned a few things!! He has made a tackle football team and they had their first informal practice last night. He's excited for football to start. Jeremy's baseball team won their first baseball game last week, 11 to 10. It was a good game! The boys were so excited to get that first win. There isn't a baseball game this week, so our lives will slow down a little, thank goodness!!

Have a good week!

Joshua is 6 months old

Here's our big happy boy. He is up to 21 pounds, 12 ounces. He is 28.5 inches long. We are switching to 12 -18 month clothes because his torso is pretty long! The doctor said that he is doing great! He got 3 more shots today and did really well. His cold is getting better, too.

Here's a very peaceful picture of Joshua sleeping. He generally sleeps through the night from 9 p.m. to about 6 a.m.

Jeremy and his friend are tubing behind our boat.

Here's Joshua on his first boat ride of the summer. He was driving with his Momma.

This is Joshua in our camper. He fell asleep while eating his lunch!!!

Jeremy and Joshua share a tender moment.

Joshua is ready for dinner.

Joshua, Jeremy and Di share time in the recliner.

Josh and Jeremy sit in the recliner together.

Josh is ready for bed last night. As you can see, he's a happy baby.

HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY TO JOSHUA!!

Boy, time really does fly! Joshua is 6 months old today and it seems like only yesterday we were in Oregon to get him. He is doing great. He has a little cold, but nothing serious. He still may be cutting his upper teeth, too. It's so hard to tell at this point. He is rolling over all of the time now. I saw him get up on his hands and knees the other day and sway, so he's getting ready to be on the move!! Di, Jeremy and Joshua are at Di's Mom's till Wednesday. They are visiting and doing some work for her Mom. When Di gets back, we'll get pictures posted. She has the camera, but no internet service!! We'll have pictures of his first boat ride, which he seemed to like very well. Did a lot of sleeping!!! We'll also put on current pics of him, etc.

Our lives remain very busy. Jeremy still has baseball games this month so we are at the baseball fields at least once a week and practice 2 nights a week.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!!

Hi Everyone!

Well we aren't finding much time to update pictures, but thought we would add an information update. Joshua has been doing great. He rolls over whenever he wants to now. He is starting to sit up on his own. He still eats his cereal, veggies and fruits like they are going to be taken away from him!! He is developing his personality, which is fun to watch. We swear he said "Mama" but he hasn't done it again, so maybe not!! We think he may be cutting an upper tooth to go with his 2 lower teeth.

Jeremy has had several baseball games and has been doing well. He has become quite the little hitter. Once he figured out he could do that, then it was easy!!! They haven't won any games yet, but they are improving and learning.

We went camping last weekend and had a very relaxing Sat. On Sunday we went to Di's relative, Cassie's, graduation from Madison High! Congrats to Cassie. She may be going to KU in the Fall, which doesn't go over well with some of us!!! I'm sure that others in the family will be very excited!!

Another relative of Di's, Brittney, had a baby this week. His name is Zeke! Brittney and Zeke are doing great! Congrats!!

We will go camping this long weekend, but will also be going to baseball games in Manhattan, as Jeremy has a tournament. Hopefully we will be able to get the boat on the water and give Joshua his first boat ride!!

Take care everyone!!

Happy Friday!! Joshua's second tooth has broken through. He's much happier now!! He is rolling over now. He just continues to develope pretty much on schedule, if not early!!

Jeremy had two baseball games last night. They didn't win, but they improved a lot from their first games. Jeremy got on base and slid in to home for a score!! He thought that was pretty cool!! He plays ball this weekend, too, so they will get lots of practice!

Happy Birthday to Joshua who turned 5 months on May 2, 2009!

We were camping this weekend, so we didn't have internet access to update the blog on his special day. He hasn't been feeling very well this weekend. He is cutting another tooth, so we think it's upsetting his tummy. He seemed to eat a lot better on Sunday night. We did get the boat out and do some fishing on Sunday. One of Jeremy's friends, Hunter, was the only one who caught a fish. It was his first catch ever!! He was very proud of himself!! Jeremy had a pretty good sized fish up to the boat and when Jackie grabbed the line to get it in, the line broke and the fish got away!!! Oh the woes of fishing!!!

This week will be busy with Jeremy's Field Days at school on Tuesday, a baseball game on Thursday, Carnival at Jeremy's school on Friday and a baseball tournament on the weekend. And of course Mother's Day on Sunday!!!

We'll try to post pictures later! Hope everyone has a good week.
